More specifically, she will be gathering information for her doctoral dissertation on the correlation between nutrition during pregnancy and the risk of delayed language development by the age of 3 years.

Audun Myskja received kr. 20.000 kr. from the AWC in 2001 for a study tour in the U.S. visiting several music institutes specializing in using music as a therapeutic technique in hospitals and nursing homes. He has been very successful in this area and in sharing his knowledge and experience nationwide. He is considered to be leading in his field. He will now be going to Boston to visit the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, the Berklee School of Music and several nursing homes in the area. His current project is entitled: Integrated Music as a Tool for Improving Care and Treatment in Hospitals and Nursing Homes” |
