How do I join AWC Oslo?

It's easy! Fill out our Application for Membership form and pay your dues of NOK 400.

When are your monthly meetings?

Our monthly meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month between September and June. We alternate between day and evening meetings.  Check out the details for this month's meeting.

Is babysitting available at the meetings?

Unfortunately, no. We lack a Babysitting Coordinator at the moment. Babysitting has previously been available at the two day meetings for NOK 50 for the first child and NOK 35 for siblings, upstairs from the meeting room in the Fireside Room at the American Lutheran Church. If you're a member who loves children and wouldn't mind volunteering to arrange babysitting at two day meetings per year, please contact us.

What do you do beside monthly meetings?

Plenty! We have seasonal activities, such as the 4th of July party at Frogner Park, a children's Halloween Carnival, Christmas bazaar and dinner, and Valentines celebration. Every month we have anywhere from one to four special activities planned -- ranging from cooking classes, museum tours, concerts, historical walks, mushroom picking, to craft classes. In addition we have a number of groups that meet anywhere from weekly to monthly -- Moms & Tots, Working Women, Needles and Pins, Web Site Development, and Book Club. We're always open for ideas and if you have a group you'd like to start, just let us know -- we welcome your input!
