FAWCO (Federation of Women's Clubs Overseas) is an international network of 71 American Women's Clubs which represent 16,000 women in 32 countries. FAWCO has three main objectives:

• serve as a resource and information channel,

• provide a voice for American women abroad, and

• contribute actively to the global community with a specific focus on literacy.

AWC Oslo participates in annual conferences and actively supports FAWCO programs.
