This month's book is the classic, Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston. From arts.gov :
To call Zora Neale Hurston's Their Eyes Were Watching God an "African American feminist classic" may be an accurate statement—it is certainly a frequent statement—but it is a misleadingly narrow and rather dull way to introduce a vibrant and achingly human novel.
Ann Hanssen will be our host this month. Her address is Ekebergveien 246B, 1166 Oslo.
**NOTE** This month's meeting has been changed to the 4th Tuesday of February as the 3rd week of February is Vinterferie.**
