Our May Member Meeting on Tuesday, 13 May at 19.00 where the elusive White Elephant returns victoriously! Bring family, friends and guests (and please register them beforehand where possible!) for this lively meeting where we will auction items to raise money for our scholarship fund. The wonderful Barbara Makely Buli will be our auctioneer for the evening.

The rules of engagement are as follows. These are also included in the May Fjord Flyer.

• Bring auction items with you to the member meeting on the night.
• Only nice "regifted" items in "nearly new" condition will be accepted unless it is a proper antique or collectable. Sorry, no clothing items unless it's something special (e.g. fur, hand-knitted). We are also weary of fine art as very often these items do not reach the expected threshold. Something to consider!
• Please bring no more than 3 items each to auction.
• The items will be laid out to view prior to the auction start at approximately 19.30. The order of items up for auction will be up to the auctioneer and her assistants; however, should you need to leave early, speak to the team privately before the auction start time to bump the item up earlier.
• Bidding commences at 19.30. Bids are who shouts the first and loudest!
• Any unsold items can be picked up at the end of the evening. Uncollected items will be donated to our holiday market raffle baskets where appropriate or to Fretex.
• And finally, we hope you will give kindly and generously!
